Description

In amateur radio sets, a sequencer is used to switch relays, among other things, to be able to switch from receiving to transmitting. It is also used to switch on the output stage so that it is not switched on unnecessarily, while only receiving is currently taking place.

This 4 port sequencer is a PTT controlled circuit board with 4 connection ports that switch on and off after each other with a delay. The delayed switching time is adjustable and 3 of the 4 ports can supply relays with voltage or short-circuit this port to ground. The PTT is activated by connecting it to ground.

A fourth port is specially intended to switch a bias of an RF amplifier on or off. A DC output of 9V is available on this port to supply a bias, but also a connection that only switches to ground in receive mode. (both connections become positive in transmission mode.)

The sequencer is supplied with a manual with clear connection data and connection examples.
